Join Mrs. Brown as she leads students on a 30-week writing journey using IEW’s Structure and Style approach. Students reading at a 6th - 8th grade level who are new to the Structure and Style for Students video course will benefit from SSS 1B's incremental and effective writing lessons. The curriculum provides clear daily assignments and includes vocabulary words and literature suggestions. Structure and Style for Students plus Fix It! Grammar brings a successful solution to your writing and grammar lessons. HOW CLASS WORKS: 1. Students come to the live class. 2. The live class includes: - Review of the previous lesson & Q&A - Students share their papers - Instructor previews the upcoming lesson - Author spotlight - We review one published author per week to discuss their writing - Review Fix It! Grammar and complete the first sentence as a class 3. After class, students watch the video lesson and complete writing and grammar homework 4. If students need extra help during the week, they can attend the optional study hall which is included with registration. A separate email will be sent to provide complimentary enrollment in study hall. FOUR PAYMENT OPTIONS: 1. Full Year: Pay $25 to register. Full tuition is due by August 1st 2. Semester: Pay $25 to register. First-semester tuition is due Aug 1st. An invoice will be sent for second-semester tuition which is due December 1st. 3. Charter School: Pay $25 to register. Purchase orders are due by August 1st. Your charter school must already be listed. 4. State Funds: Pay $25 to register. State fees should be requested by the parent and paid by August 1st.
