Meet Mrs. Brown

I'm Mrs. Brown, a fellow homeschooler and creator of Write with Mrs. Brown. With over a decade of homeschooling experience, I launched WWMB in Dayton, Ohio to make teaching writing easier for parents. I also created a nurturing space where students could grow into proficient writers.

 

My own homeschool writing journey, which included moments of worry and triumph, sparked my desire to serve other families. I've overcome the challenge of finding effective methods for my struggling and gifted learners. I taught writing through the early years and the tricky preteen/teen years. I've learned to let go and give my own children the space to find their voices as writers. Most of all, I've had the privilege of turning hundreds of reluctant young learners into proficient writers.

 

I surround myself with other brilliant parents and I'd love for you to join me. As a certified writing instructor, I bring proven writing techniques and a mastery-based curriculum to our journey together.

 

My aim is simple yet profound: to build proficient young writers and teach parents how to be excellent writing coaches.
