About the Classes
Class Description: Join Mrs. Brown as she leads students on a 30-week writing journey using IEW’s Structure and Style approach. Students reading at a 3rd - 5th grade level who are new to the Structure and Style for Students video course will benefit from SSS 1A's incremental and effective writing lessons. The curriculum provides clear daily assignments, vocabulary words, and literature suggestions. The course will cover seven IEW units, author spotlights, and grammar using Fix It! Grammar.

Class Size: 8 max (minimum enrollment is 5)
Date: August 31, 2023 - May 2, 2024 (30 weeks)
Length: 1 hour
Reading Level: 3rd - 5th
Instructor: Mrs. Brown
Technology Used: Zoom, Google Classroom, Kahoot, Gmail
Materials: (Not included in the class price)
SSS1A Student/Teacher Guide, SSS1A Video Lessons, Fix It! Grammar 1 Student/Teacher Guide
Parent Involvement: Parent involvement is critical to student success. Parents are responsible for ensuring their student completes homework between each class. Parents also review each paper and serve as editors for their students.
