Service Description

Join Mrs. Brown as she leads students on a 13-week public speaking journey using IEW’s Introduction to Public Speaking program. Middle and high school students learn memory and delivery techniques as they write and present five speeches: self-introductory, narrative, expository, persuasive, and impromptu. Students evaluate recorded speeches in preparation for self-evaluation. Screens must be on, and students must be willing to give presentations in class and receive feedback. This program helps students become competent and confident public speakers. HOW CLASS WORKS: 1. Students come to the live class. 2. The live class includes: - Review of the previous lesson & Q&A - Students give their presentations - Students give and receive constructive feedback - Instructor previews the upcoming lesson 3. After class, students watch the video lesson and complete homework FOUR PAYMENT OPTIONS 1. Full Year: Pay $25 to register. Full tuition is due by August 1st 2. Semester: Pay $25 to register. First-semester tuition is due Aug 1st. An invoice will be sent for second-semester tuition which is due December 1st. 3. Charter School: Pay $25 to register. Purchase orders are due by August 1st. Your charter school must already be listed. 4. State Funds: Pay $25 to register. State fees should be requested by the parent and paid by August 1st.
