E3: Finishing the school year strong, conventions, and giving yourself grace!

Happy E3 Friday!

Here are two ways to stay equipped, encouraged, and engaged as you help your student improve their writing this week.

Stay Equipped
  1. Attending homeschool conventions is super helpful this season. Meet me in person this weekend at the Great Homeschool Convention in Cincinnati. I'll be working in the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) Booth.

  2. Keep it fun to avoid burnout. I post a new Kahoot Game every Friday at noon.

Stay Encouraged
  1. "Keep up the good work, don't be too hard on yourself when things don't go as planned." - Mrs. Brown (share on Instagram)

  2. “You carry so much love in your heart. Give some to yourself.” – R.Z.

Journal: What do you need in this season of life, and how are you taking care of yourself?

Stay Engaged
  1. Listen to Episode 367 of the IEW Podcast: 1000 Hours Outside with Ginny Yurich

  2. Register for Fall IEW Online Writing Classes. This upcoming school year I'll be offering SSS1A, SSS2A, SSS1B, SSS2B, and U.S. History-Based Writing

Until Next Week,

Mrs. Brown
